CEDC is one of New Hampshire’s premier 501( c ) ( 3 ) nonprofit economic development corporations. Our region is centered generally between Boston, MA, Portland, ME, and Manchester, NH. and represents a collection of 11 cities and towns. Incorporated in 1998, CEDC is governed by a committed Board of Directors, consisting of civic-minded citizens from the business, public service, legal, real estate, and accounting sectors. Since our inception, CEDC has provided direct project funding of more than $5.5 million, which leveraged more than $60 million of other financing. We have helped to retain or create hundreds of jobs within our region. CEDC programs include direct gap financing through a variety of funding programs, including the CEDC-managed “Seacoast Revolving Loan Fund”. We also act in the capacity of the necessary funding intermediary between public programs and private enterprises. If it’s a business location you need, we own and operate ‘Seacoast Suites for Business and Technology’, a 35,000 square foot office, lab, and technology facility located in Hampton, New Hampshire. This facility has excellent business space, and CEDC can offer very reasonable rates and flexible terms.
